So, what is our plan?

by Alejandra & Warner

This is it! Finally did it! We started a new life and are bringing you along for the ride.

We are Alejandra and Warner, your average atypical couple that have decided to follow their guts and do something that may be either incredibly stupid or out of this world exciting (or both!).

Call it quarter-life crisis, or just being fed-up with the status-quo, the fact is that accepting the way things are “supposed to be” does not cut it for us anymore. We want to spend our time doing things we’re passionate about, advocating for human and animal rights, building in traditional ways, and discovering this beautiful planet of ours. We have chosen to leave our semi-stable lives in Europe to get inspired and find who we really want to be. To begin this quest we spent months saving up and making sure nothing was left behind. We quit our jobs, sold everything we owned and bought a one way ticket to India.  Apart from that, nothing else is planned. The possibilities are endless.

In case living a happy life isn’t enough of a challenge in itself, we decided to take it up a notch: we want to live an ethical, environmentally friendly and sustainable life. We often find ourselves frustrated with how things are. And being optimistic realists, we are convinced of everyones’ capacity for change. Knowing we don’t want to contribute to all the issues we see in the world, means we have to change many of our own habits and choices, something we are totally willing to figure out. We are not perfect and are ready to mess up plenty along the way. By questioning all and actively seeking to be more ethical and sustainable, we hope to learn, become aware, grow and ultimately discover alternative lifestyle approaches that make us happy.

But fear not, we won’t try to constantly give you instagram envy or to convince you to quit it all and roam the world. Instead, we would like to show you a different way of seeing and approaching the world, one which anyone can adapt to their lives. Change can be daunting and confusing, but by sharing how we figure things out, and showcasing positive cases around the world, we hope to be able to set helpful examples. Ultimately we are here to share new ideas, instigate reflection and inspire positive change. But if all else fails, we’re also happy with simply entertaining you while you’re taking a dump.

So if you want to join us in this journey, or simply understand better what it is we’re talking about, make sure to follow our blog with Bloglovin, subscribe to our newsletter for exclusive content, and give us some love on social media.
